Xoops Modules : A new Module Development site is born

Following the recent upheaval at Xoops.org, a number of like minded individuals have come together to form a new web site for Xoops Module Developers.XoopsModDev.org is being set up to address the specific requirements of Xoops Module Developers.

Xoobs.net is pleased to be a sponsor for the site.

Please visit the site - it's not altogether finished but you have a great opportunity as a developer to add your input as to what you'd like to see from such a site.

XoopsModDev is part of a set of new community sites being set up after recent events. See also XoopsInfo.com, Other sites such as XoopsAddons.com and XoopsWiki.com are being worked on.

XBS is pleased to announce that Kingfisher Landscaping, based in Northants, UK have contracted us to develop their new web site, following the hacking of their original site by pornographers. XBS will of course use Xoops as the mainstay of the new site.

Xoobs.net is on slow time until January 2nd. The site is not shutting, but any support requests may or may not be answered, depending on how much festive produce has been consumed at any given time

Xoobs is moving house. To take andavantage of a better hosting offering giving more storage and bandwidth for less money, Xoobs is moving from its current hosters at Easynet to 3DPixelNet. This will inevitably mean some disruption over the next few days. We hope to acheive the move over this weekend (25/26 Nov) and it may mean closing the site temporarily.
